Grit for Parents is a deep dive into how to raise kids with healthy, happy brains (spoiler alert: our brains need to be working optimally to achieve this). In the workshop we will explore:
– self-regulation through co-regulation with a parent.
– the neuro-science behind kids’ meltdowns and how we can use the sequence of engagement model to get kids’ brains back online.
– practical tips for making our own mental health a priority.
– how a simple meditation practice can alter the way our brains work.
