Calling all gently used costumes….and guess what’s coming home this week?

The Fundraising Team invites you to SHARE THOSE COSTUMES !

The PAC Fundraising Team will be happy to take your gently used costumes and store them for a fundraiser next October. What a great way to clear out your storage room, recycle and re-use those costumes. Look out for collection bins at the front entry at the school  – we will be collecting for one week only!

The Team extends their thanks to all DL friends &  families who supported DL SpiritWear. Look for items to be delivered in December and for DL logos abound in January.

And guess what’s on its way home this week….Cards by Kids is open for online orders this week. Ask your kids to show you their beautiful art work, they will be so proud to share it. Details for orders will be included with their sample card. What a wonderful way to share some love with a personal touch this holiday season!

PAC meeting Tuesday Sept 22 & Fun Food Days Announcement

Please join us for our first PAC meeting of the year on Tuesday September 22nd at 7pm in the Multi Purpose Room.  Review our financial budget for 2015-2016, hear an update from our school Principal and VP, be the first to sign out books from our New Parent Library and learn about the great committee work by our hard working volunteers. munchahotlunchFUN FOOD DAYS ordering is now OPEN.

The MunchaLunch online system is open from September 17 – 24 for the October to December food ordering period. Ordering will happen three times this year: September (for Oct-Dec lunches), December (for Jan-Mar lunches), and March (for Apr-Jun lunches) in order to make the financial commitment to Fun Foods easier. For more detailed instructions, read more here.
Note about Payments:  Beginning this year, payment for hot lunch orders will only be accepted through PayPal (by credit card or direct bank payment). Cheques and other offline payment methods will no longer be accepted, to make life easier for our amazing (but busy) parent volunteers.

  3. Each item, colour, and size combination is a separate choice in the online order form, so scroll down until you find what you need (check that you have the right size and colour)
  4. Specify the desired quantity of each item you want, and Add to Cart. (It’s all in there!  Just keep scrolling….)

ORDER THE OLD-FASHIONED WAY: Order forms should have come home with your children and must be returned to the school office by Wednesday November 12, 2014. Or just download and complete this Flyer and submit it to the school office. Please put it in an envelope with cash or a cheque in the orange box marked PAC SPIRIT WEAR. Cheques should be made payable to Dorothy Lynas PAC.

WHEN TO ORDER: Don’t delay! The ordering window is only from October 30 to November 12, 2014 to ensure production and delivery is completed before the holiday break.

SIZING & SAMPLES: please refer to the sizing chart below, keeping in mind it is only a guide. Clothing samples for sizing purposes will be available to try on outside the multi-purpose room OR in the front foyer of the school office on the following dates:

  • November 4, 5, 6, 7, 12  from 8:40 – 9:00 am
  • November 5, 6, 12 from  2:45 – 3:30pm
  • November 12th viewings will be at the basketball courtyard

DELIVERY: Orders will be available in mid December for pick-up at a convenient location emailed to you.

PLEASE NOTE:
  • Images of the Hoodie are from the back view. The front of the Hoodie is blank.

  • HATS: the Beanie and Skull Cap are One Size only.

  • T-shirts are 100% cotton. Allow for 5 – 10% in shrinkage.

  • Hoodies are 50/50 cotton~polyester.

  • Duffel bag dimensions: 10” h x 18” w x 9” d/ Capacity: 20.5L
  • Choose sizes carefully. If you are unsure, choose one size up. Try them on during sample times.

Halloween Safety Tips to review with your Trick or Treaters

1. Always walk with an adult

2. Make sure you look both ways before crossing the street

3. Wear a costume with visible colours or stick reflective tape on your costume
