Volunteers needed for Zarah’s Sunsrise Garden

As you know, work has started on Zarah’s Sunrise Garden, a beautiful garden designed by Sally Hocking which will create a sunrise of colours each Spring. On Friday, students at Dorothy Lynas Elementary School are planting the “sea” of crocus’ across a grassy hill adjacent to the garden.

This weekend we are planning to do some of the heavy work. We tried to get a bobcat to make it easier but unfortunately we were not successful. Instead we will be relying on volunteers to dig a trench around the perimeter of the garden so we can install logs to define the area. This work will be going on for a few weeks and will rely on volunteers like you to make it happen!
