December is upon us! In keeping with one of our favourite DL traditions, we call out to all our bakers – time to treat our deserving DL Staff to some home-baked goods before we take a break for the holidays. Between Monday, December 12 and Friday, December 16 our Class Reps will receive your treats between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. in the front of the school (if we have 2 volunteers you may find another one near the MPR playground).

Items will be delivered to the 2 staff rooms – with approx 50 staff members we invite 4-5 plates of baked goods per day. Please RSVP to emaildlpac@gmail.com to let us know which day you can bring your baked goods so we can plan accordingly.

Also, we would appreciate if you could please label your items so the staff can identify possible allergens. We look forward to receiving your baked goods and thank you in advance for your participation. Let’s give the Staff a holiday treat that will show how much we appreciate their dedication to our kids.

MunchWelcome480x2801Round 2! Fun Foods is NOW OPEN for Term 2 orders. Place your orders at www.munchalunch.com between December 2 and December 16th for hot lunches starting in January. Its  a busy time of the year so mark these dates in your calendar – you will thank yourself come January when you have one less lunch to make each week.

A huge thank you to our Fun Foods Team – Karen Birch, Donna Ryder, Lisa Hammermeister, Monica Douglas, all our volunteers who prep & sort and our Gr 6’s & 7’s who deliver lunches to the classrooms. You are all so quiet behind the scenes – we all give a shout out to you and say THANK YOU for all you do! Great teamwork!
