It’s almost holiday break! Before you sign off all things PAC, please save the following important dates in your 2016 (eep, is it almost 2016?!) calendar:
PAC Meeting: special guest Jesse Miller, Mediated Reality, Tuesday Jan 19th: Feeling lost in the great big sea of social media? Want to know more about what your children are doing online or being potentially exposed to? Jesse will share how we can ensure our children become aware and ethical social media participants who communicate an effective and positive message and build an online reputation that will help them into the next stages of life. Jesse is a world renowned expert in this field in high demand, and we are lucky to have him in our Deep Cove community. Reserve your seat at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Family Fun Night: Wednesday February 3, 2016: Thanks to a great team of Volunteers, this great family event is back! Featuring a full length feature move (TBA), bring a comfy cushion and blankets, and sit back and enjoy the show.
Carnival is a GO! Saturday May 28th: Thank you to all the Volunteers who stepped up this past month to make sure the Dorothy Lynas Spring Carnival tradition carries on. You have shown great spirit by taking on these roles and our kids are so fortunate to have such loving and caring parents who juggle their everyday duties but find the time to give a little extra. Special thanks go to Alikie Knight who has stepped up to be our Carnival Chair this year – join us in welcoming and supporting Alikie to help make this another great community Spirit Event!
Blueridge Elementary PAC Tree Chipping Fundraiser: Come out and support Blueridge PAC and drop your tree off on Saturday January 2nd, 2016 between 10:00am and 4:00pm in the Blueridge school parking lot. Tree Chipping is by donation.
Wishing you and your families the best of the Holiday Season. May 2016 bring you much happiness & good health. We hope you are able to spend some quiet time with the ones you love and share with your children how fortunate they are to belong to a wonderful, loving and safe community.
See you in 2016!
