Due to the ongoing strike situation, our vendor for next Thursday June 12th has had to cancel lunch. She had to place the order for supplies before the strike day was known and, as a small business owner, could not incur the risk of having inventory she could not use. As a committee, we could not come up with an alternate plan for lunch on such short notice so we feel the only thing we can do is cancel.
A credit will be applied to the MunchaLunch accounts of the students whose lunch is being cancelled and will be available to apply to lunch orders next year. Grade 7 students will either be offered a refund or can apply the credit to a younger sibling in the school.
